Mission of Steps to a Healthier Clark County Worksite Teams - To build and support environments within community worksites that make it easier for employees of Clark County businesses to be physically active, choose healthy food and to work in smoke-free environments.

The top 50 employers and targeted companies who employ low-income workers in Clark County were invited to compete for minigrants to develop or enhance worksite wellness programs, and move towards policy change towards a healthier worksite.
One of the worksite grants awardees, Educational Opportunities for Children and Families (EOCF) are taking big steps towards institutionalizing worksite wellness into their work days. It's time for a Wellness Break." Administration staff is now building "stretch, relax and move" into meetings, all food served at EOFC-sponsored events will be well balanced and represent healthy food choices; such as fresh fruits and vegetables and all vending machines located on EOFC property will offer healthy food options.
